Wheels, predominantly two wheels, have been synonymous with Honda. Soichiro Honda was born in 1906 and spent the early years of his childhood helping his father with his bicycle repair business.
He went on to build motorcycles and in the decades that followed the company grew into a global manufacturer. Despite a foray into F1 in the 1960s, it was their supply of engines in the 1980s which brought them title-winning success. The McLaren-Honda partnership has netted 44 GP wins and four consecutive constructors’ championships.
A pairing renewed in 2015.
